Charlie Smith... Interior Stylist & more....
Charlie Smith Works with jewelery, chandeliers & home styling, she creates a totally unique vintage look with a fresh, contemporary edge.I came across her site and was enamored by all the pretty chandeliers available! They're all individually handcrafted to add a unique look to your home. If you're in London, her chandeliers are available via Liberty UK. Below are some samples of her work for you to enjoy!

Pops of C-O-L-O-R
In my opinion, some of the best editorial features in design mags are the ones that pop with color! I love skimming through a magazine at a bookstore & being taken aback by all the vivid colors of the interiors.
Here's a perfect example of what I mean, so eye-catching, don't you think?

Via Hus and Hem.
Underground home in Switzerland....Wow!
Some of you might have seen this home via Freshome this weekend, but I was so blown away by the architectural details that I had to share it with my readers. This home is in Switzerland & has gotten the attention of many residents who live near by.
I think it's admirable that people are willing to take chances & not always conform to the typical look of a home. There are so many times I wish my own home had some interesting architectural details & not be so cookie-cutter. enjoy!

What are your thoughts about living in a home like this?
Studio AAndacht.....
A reader emailed me about Studio AAndacht, a company run by Tatjana Quax & Ben Lambers that provides styling, photography & graphic design services to clients looking for a creative approach. They're based out of the Netherlands & I am very much looking forward to seeing more of their work. Here's a sample of what they do, enjoy!
A 'WOW' apt at Alvhem....
This apartment on Alvhem is "Oh sooo pretty!" - I love Alvhem's website, they always have large photos where you can really see the interiors of the homes. I also love the openness of this space & how the kitchen can be seen from the living room area. How about that cute piece of brick wall as an accent?? Hope everyone had a great weekend...!

Ok, so this is what I decided.....
Below (2nd pic) is one of my guest bedrooms & this is the fabric I decided to go with from Fabric Supplies via Etsy. It's around $7.00/yd versus $90/yd for the Rubie Green 'Marilyn' fabric. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the RG, but perhaps I'll save that expense for the master bedroom. I think this fabric I chose is close enough & my guy may even try to re-create the same headboard in her photo (with the cute shape). Either way, I'll keep you all posted with photos of the projects in my home!
