Ugliest Blog Post I've Ever Done....(Via Made by Girl)

Every so often I find a great deal on Craigslist, such as my white french Provincial sofa, (It wasn't white, see before pics here) which is now one of my favorite pieces. However, to tell you the TRUTH....the LAS VEGAS Craigslist is filled with furniture that just makes MY skin crawl! 

I admit, I get a tiny bit JEALOUS of LA and NYC Craigslist, because I'm CERTAIN they have some worthwhile pieces listed. But, OMG, look at what I get to look at when I'm on there....(go ahead, feel sorry for me), it's terrible what people are actually trying to SELL for 100's of dollars!

So, am I the only one with the 80's FLASHBACK furniture (in my town) or is the Craigslist in your town ALSO filled with the same craziness?!!? Please share.

Nothing against CL, I'm sure it's not their fault people post this.

Hope you all had a great weekend. MY WEEKEND WAS.... quite busy, with design work, DIY project on the new lamps I purchased (from TJ Maxx), birthday to attend & volunteering at the Soup Kitchen to feed the homeless. Now, it's back to blogging and working as usual.....


This MONDAY I bring you Designer, Jan des Bouvrie is constantly impressing me with his furniture designs, interiors & architecture. The first thing that comes to mind when I look at these images is, tranquility and RELAXATION. As I've said before, I love all WHITE interiors with pops of color....and all white furniture pieces (even though not always so practical) are just gorgeous!

A Fabulous Mess Via Etsy....(at Made By Girl)

OMG!!! I am so glad to see that Etsy has more than just crafty little items like quilts & tea towels etc. I LOVE the fact that they also have shops that sell Hollywood Regency Furniture....my fave! Dreaming About Jonathan Adler Furniture.....

Jonathan Adler's site carries some of my favorite pieces of furniture, Ok...I've said that about many other sites... but his items are just so CHIC! Is that the word I'm looking for?? Well whatever it is, it's the type of furniture that makes your home feel like a page in a magazine! My favorite is this Lampert Sofa which is also available in other fabric options, a BIG +++  .

Graham & Green UK....Colorful Cushions!

If you're like me & you LOVE cushions, Graham & Green has a ton of colorful options available. Some of these are really ideal when you're looking to add some interest to a piece of furniture or even YOUR OWN bed! For those of you who aren't familiar with Graham & Green, they are based out of the UK and sell mostly contemporary furniture and home accessories. Room Service L.A.....Oh so gorgeous!

Next time I'm in LA, I'd love to drop by Room Service. This shop has the cutest desks! Any of you been to this shop? They also have some beautiful velvet sofas, which I'd love to own someday! Take a look at their huge collection of unique furniture pieces here.

I didn't want to leave this shop (The Grand Tour)

I came across The Grand Tour Home while I was away in Scottsdale last weekend...& boy was I ecstatic! I couldn't believe how many beautiful items they had. This shop is so unique, with many items imported from Paris & other parts of the world. Thanks to Misty for being so gracious while I was looking around. She was kind enough to let me shoot the store for all of you to see! If you're ever in Scottsdale, you must visit them on Stetson Drive. Also, check out The Grand Tour's lovely website.
