Some New Treasures....

Hey Girls.... Happy Independence Day!!

It's all the sudden decided to rain here today, not too long before I plan on heading out to spend the afternoon and evening with some friends to celebrate the 4th of July. I'm hoping the rain will pass quickly and that the sun will come out again. It's not much fun barbecuing in the rain.. LOL

While waiting for the rain to stop and before I leave, I just wanted to share with you the wonderful things I found yesterday on my day of antiquing. Luck was with me and I found several cute things.

First, is this cottagy cute creamer that has a floral pattern with my favorite colors of pink, green, yellow and blue. Got this one real cheap for only $3.00. It's not in perfect condition as it has a few cracks in it, but that didn't stop me from buying it. I knew that even though I couldn't use it for it's intended purpose, it still fits in perfectly with my style of decorating and makes for a wonderful display piece.

Next is this pretty little china basket with a pink rose and a some purple and green...

A pretty embroidered linen dresser scarf and some star shaped pink and cream crocheted doilies.. A girl can never have enough of these..

And finally... a milk glass vase and bottle with a stopper. I love collecting these milk glass pieces. They are always easy to find and are very inexpensive. I love the vases and have them scattered throughout my house filled with artificial flowers to add pops of pretty color to my rooms.

It was a fun day shopping and I can't wait until I can do it again.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend. See you soon!!
